Connecting people across Asia.
One step deeper into connection with each country.
Journeys
Twice a year, somewhere in Asia. Where we've been, and where we head next.

01
Taipei
A real sense of connection between Japan and Taiwan. People from different fields gathered in one place, creating bonds that sightseeing alone could never reach.

02
Cabanatuan / Angeles / Subic
Four days in Cabanatuan, central Luzon — school visits, randoseru and picture book donations, live music exchange, and time with the local community. Stepping into a world ordinary travel never reaches, together.

Country Partners
The partners in each country who welcome us and build the journey together.
Volunteer Partners
Organizations and individuals who join us on the ground — donating supplies, visiting schools, and more.

Education support (donated randoseru & school supplies)
A Japan-based NPO that delivers randoseru backpacks and school supplies collected in Japan to children overseas, including across Asia. Beyond delivering goods, JIYU values visiting communities in person and building direct connections between people. The Asian Hub works with JIYU on school visits and donation drives abroad.

Civic service organization (Nueva Ecija, Philippines)
A civic service organization based in Nueva Ecija, Philippines, and a chapter of The Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles. It works on community support, youth development and humanitarian aid, valuing the bond among its members while carrying out ongoing, community-rooted service and support projects. The club partners with The Asian Hub through community exchange and social contribution activities in the Philippines.
Sports & international exchange (youth development, overseas support)
A Japanese NPO that passes on the experience of top athletes to the next generation, working to develop children and local sports through athletics. Alongside junior volleyball development and sports classes, it also supports sports in developing countries overseas. The Asian Hub partners with VRAVO N plus on activities combining sports and international exchange.
Philosophy
Going abroad has never been easier. Board a plane, and a few hours later you are in another country.
But visiting a country and actually meeting the people who live there and building relationships with them are two entirely different things.
Japan's population is shrinking, and the assumptions behind its society and economy are gradually changing. In the years ahead, we believe that connecting with people outside Japan and holding relationships that cross borders will matter more than ever.
Among the places closest to us are the countries of Asia. Many of them are only a few hours away. Yet despite that closeness, opportunities to actually meet local people and get to know one another deeply are still surprisingly rare.
That is why we started The Asian Hub.
What The Asian Hub aims for is an experience one step beyond sightseeing. Not just visiting a country, but talking with local people, sharing meals, touching the culture, and at times taking on social contribution or new challenges together.
In Taiwan, it doesn't end with Jiufen and xiaolongbao. In Korea, it doesn't end with barbecue and beauty. In the Philippines, it doesn't end with beach resorts.
Across nationality, culture, profession and position, people meet and build relationships that don't end with a single trip or event. And the connections born there spread on to the next country, the next encounter, and the next challenge.
Through person-to-person connections, we want to bring Asia closer and grow a community that works like a hub of Asia, where relationships across countries and positions keep emerging one after another.
That is The Asian Hub.
